Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams was born in San Francisco on February 20, 1902. He mostly photographed the American West, especially Yosemite National Park. Adam's work and reputation developed between 1929-1942. He photographed everything from mountains to factories. He used photography to promote wilderness awareness and to show the wartime injustice of camps during World War II. Ansel Adams is an extremely talented photographer and considered one of the best photographers of all time. Adams died in April of 1984.
