Louis Daguerre
Louis Daguerre was born in 1787 France. He began a partnership with Joseph Nicephore Niece that started in 1829 and lasted until 833 when Niece passed away. Both photographs began to create heliographic photos. After the death of Niece, Daguerre began to create Daguerreotype photography. This type consisted of five aspects:the polishing of the silver plate; the coating of the plate with iodide of silver by submitting it for about 20 minuets to the action if iodine vapor; the projection of the image of the object upon the golden-colored iodized surface; the development of the latent imae by means of the vapor of mercury; and the fixing of the picture. Daguerre died on July 10, 1851.
